Following four regional National Installer of the Year competitions across the United States, organizers of The International Surface Event (TISE) and representatives of International Certified Flooring Installers (CFI) have announced the eight regional finalists who have qualified to compete in the National Competition in Las Vegas, Jan. 24-26, 2024.
The 2024 National Competition Finalists are, from the Indiana regionals: Diego Alviso (Carpet) and Crystal Marie Sims (LVP); from the California regionals: Hugo Gutierrez (Carpet) and Hasan Basic (LVP); from the Texas regionals: Zachary Stacy (Carpet) and Roy Lewis (LVP); and from the Maryland regionals: James Ghanim (Carpet) and Edward Mark Kinzer (LVP).
Each regional finalist will receive a trip to Las Vegas to TISE 2024, a plaque and a $200 prize. Additionally, the 2024 National Installer of the Year winners for each category (Carpet and LVP) will receive a championship heavyweight belt and a $2,500 grand prize.
