Keene Building Products has opened its new training center at 23550 Saint Clair Ave. in Euclid, Ohio. Designed for contractors, distributors, architects and installation crews, the new facility helps industry professionals become officially certified on Keene products in just one to two days, using a curriculum taught by Keene’s seasoned technical staff.
“Seeing this training center come to fruition is a major milestone for our entire team,” said Alex Keene, vp operations for Keene Building Products. “By opening these doors and sharing our team’s century of combined experience, we are giving our partners the hands-on expertise they need to specify and install with absolute confidence.”
The Keene Training Program is structured to bridge the gap between technical theory and real-world application. The core curriculum includes:
- Classroom Instruction: Deep dives into product architecture, specifications, code compliance, job-site safety and best practices.
- Hands-On Demonstrations: Participants work directly with live Keene products and systems, mastering installation, calibration, diagnostics and troubleshooting in a controlled, fully equipped environment.
- Certification and Ongoing Support: Graduates receive an official Keene Inc. certificate of completion, along with 90 days of exclusive post-training technical support through the Keene help desk.
Along with sessions in the training center, the program is also available as an intensive demo bootcamp offering “highly focused, hands-on immersion,” on-site sessions at a client’s facility, and an online remote learning format.
Every in-person training experience is capped at 20 participants to ensure highly personalized instruction. Attendees are provided with extensive product manuals and reference guides, catered lunches, and dedicated one-on-one time with Keene’s sales and technical teams.
