Fishman Flooring Solutions has been awarded distribution rights for Tarkett commercial products in Indiana and Kentucky, effective Aug. 3. With this move, Fishman now distributes Tarkett products from all 49 of its locations across 18 states and the District of Columbia.
“Bringing Tarkett products to the flooring installation market in Indiana and Kentucky is the extension of a strategic partnership between Tarkett and Fishman that spans more than three decades,” said Greg Vale, vp sales and marketing at Fishman. “Fishman has been doing business for some time in Indiana and Kentucky. We now [can] strengthen our position in those markets by bringing a wide range of Tarkett products as close to the flooring installation marketplace as possible.”
Fishman will now distribute a full line of Tarkett products for the commercial market in Indiana and Kentucky, including wall base, stair treads, sheet vinyl, luxury vinyl tile (LVT), vinyl composition tile (VCT), sheet flooring and finishing accessories.
Fishman opened its branch in Louisville in 2023, enabling it to serve markets throughout the state and in neighboring Indiana. The company is currently supplying the Indiana market with deliveries twice a week from its Louisville branch and plans on opening a location in the Indianapolis area in the immediate future.
Earlier this year, Tarkett and Fishman announced Fishman as the sole Tarkett distributor in Maryland and Delaware, as well as the District of Columbia. That agreement mirrors a similar arrangement covering North and South Carolina and Virginia, which has been in place for more than 20 years.
