UX 500 SafeGuard – High‑Tech Uncoupling and Waterproofing Membrane. UX 500 SafeGuard is a fiber‑reinforced uncoupling and waterproofing membrane designed for interior tile and stone installations. SafeGuard rolls out flat with no memory effect and provides crack‑bridging performance with high compressive strength and load displacement. Rated ASTM C627 Extra Heavy, SafeGuard is suitable for concrete, gypsum, single‑layer plywood/OSB and young concrete once walkable. When paired with Uzin HydroStop accessories, it forms a continuous waterproof system with vapor equalization.
UX 500 MicroGuard – Ultra‑Thin Textile Uncoupling Membrane. The new UX 500 MicroGuard offers a reduced‑profile uncoupling membrane designed to use up to 50% less thinset than traditional membranes, according to the company. MicroGuard installs flat with no memory effect, isolates cracks up to 1/8” and can replace traditional backerboard over single‑layer 5/8” T&G plywood when deflection requirements are met. When detailed with Uzin WP Seam Tape or HydroStop accessories, it provides waterproofing and vapor management for fast‑track residential, commercial and industrial installations.
CX 38 Lightweight Mortar – High‑Performance, Polymer‑Modified Mortar. CX 38 Lightweight Mortar is a non‑sag, polymer‑modified product for large‑format tile and stone. CX 38 is engineered to deliver outstanding non‑sag performance, extended open time, exceptional workability and high yield—with 30 lbs. performing like a traditional 50 lb. bag, according to the company. Suitable for interior, exterior, freeze/thaw, and submerged applications, it is compatible with Uzin uncoupling membranes and radiant‑heated substrates.
NC 888 MT – Moisture‑Tolerant Skim and Patch Compound. Uzin’s NC 888 MT is now fully moisture tolerant with no RH limit per ASTM F2170, according to the company. This rapid‑drying compound provides extreme bond strength, superior smoothing and fast turnaround with foot traffic in 10-60 minutes and readiness for most floor coverings in 15-120 minutes. It retains its 1” depth capability and more than 3,000 psi compressive strength.
MK 500 – Premium Engineered Wood Flooring Adhesive. The new MK 500 is a single‑component, solvent‑free, high‑solids adhesive engineered for direct glue‑down installation of engineered wood flooring. It trowels easily, forms consistent ridges and supports installations over concrete, fortified gypsum, plywood and OSB. Working time is 10-30 minutes, with light foot traffic allowed after 16 hours.
KE 39 TPS Now in 1‑Gallon Units. UZIN expands its adhesive offering with a new 1‑gallon unit of KE 39 TPS, complementing the existing 4‑gallon pail. This transitional pressure‑sensitive adhesive offers high initial tack, firm‑set bond development and moisture tolerance up to 99% RH. The new size is ideal for smaller jobs, repairs, and punch‑list work, the company stated.
