FCICA, CFI Working Together to Increase Certified Installation Managers

Certified Installation Manager (CIM) ProgramFCICA, the Flooring Contractors Association and The International Certified Flooring Installers Association, Inc (CFI) are working together to obtain more Certified Installation Managers (CIMs) in the flooring Industry.

CFI members who would like to earn their certification can do so at the 3 Days to CIM event in Atlanta October 12 – 14, 2019. Normally the program would cost them $1,670 but FCICA has offered CFI members a code specifically for this event that will save them $345. In addition, CFI members can apply for the WFCA scholarship and save an additional $500.

“This is a win-win for the industry,” says Kimberly Oderkirk, Executive Vice President of FCICA. “The CIM program is a great career path for an installer who wants to get into project management and get off their knees. By earning the CIM designation they can set themselves apart from their competition and make themselves more valuable to their employers.”

“CFI has always had a great respect for both FCICA and its CIM Program. I’ve always seen the CIM Program as a great evolution for an installer,” states Robert Varden, Vice President of CFI. “So, CFI partnering together with FCICA and CIM to help promote each other will be a great benefit for both of our organizations,” he continues.
