As the flooring industry gathered for The International Surface Event (tise) 2026 in Las Vegas, the Floor Covering Industry Foundation (FCIF) board of directors convened on Wed., Jan. 28, to reflect on the foundation’s impact and chart a course for 2026.
During the meeting, board members reviewed FCIF’s progress in 2025, including raising more than $850,000 to support flooring families facing catastrophic medical and financial hardships. The foundation received applications from 28 states across the country, representing professionals in manufacturing, installation, retail and other areas of the industry. Board members also discussed plans to expand awareness and reach more flooring families in need.
FCIF also welcomed new members to its board of directors, including Bill Wilson (Abbey), Geoff Gordon (FUSE Alliance), Michel Vermette (AFS Group), Brent Emore (AHF Products), Ralph Grogan (Meridian Adhesives Group) and Carole Cross (Cyncly).
