The Floor Covering Installation Contractors Association (FCICA) recently held a “2 Days to CIM” training event on Sept. 15-16, two days prior to the Synergy Convention & Expo in Nashville. The training, which drew 14 flooring professionals seeking Certiifed Installation Manager (CIM) certification, was sponsored by Fishman Flooring Solutions.
Program mentor Don Styka of Tarkett led the accelerated and intensive instruction. At the conclusion of the first day of training, Fishman staff invited trainees to a local restaurant to socialize and network. D. Clark, Fishman vp – corporate ambassador and long-term CIM, addressed the group, sharing information about Fishman and the importance of the CIM program.
The newest CIMS are: Mike Cornette and Toby Dreyer of C.D.I. Floors; Patrick Crump, Conor Doolan, Richard Fritts, Tom Gorman and Michael Moore of J & J Interiors; Cheryl Godby, Misty Gravley, Britany Manis, Morgan Monagle, Jillyan Thornton and Luke Wright of Matter Surfaces; and Mark Gonzalez of Diverzify National Accounts.
