Housing for the NWFA Wood Flooring Expo, set for April 16-19 at the Music City Center in downtown Nashville, TN, is now open. Themed “Strike A Cord,” this year’s edition of the expo will offer more in-depth education, a packed trade show floor, and plenty of opportunities to experience the Nashville scene. Highlights of the NWFA Wood Flooring Expo will include:

NWFA/NAFCD Distributor & Manufacturer Reception
The NWFA/NAFCD Distributor & Manufacturer Reception is 6:30–7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 17. The networking event includes beer, wine and appetizers. Distributors and manufactures will have an opportunity to connect and discuss business in a casual atmosphere.
This event is open to manufacturers and distributors only and will take place at Honky Tonk Central located two blocks from the Music City Center on Broadway’s Music Row. No charge for this event.
Somerset Mill Tour and Lunch & Learn
The Somerset Mill Tour and Lunch & Learn is from 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 18. This event includes shuttle transportation, mill tour and catered lunch sponsored by Somerset Hardwood Flooring. The entire event is worth two CEU credits.
This event is open to architects, designers and contractors only. No charge for this event.
Wood Floor of the Year Awards Dinner & Closing Concert

Celebrate the wood flooring industry at this one-of-a-kind event. Enjoy a three-course dinner with wine service and honor the winners of the Wood Floor of the Year contest on Friday, April 18 from 6:00–9:00 p.m.
Following dinner, attendees will be treated to a private concert by country music star, Pam Tillis. The daughter of country legend Mel Tillis, she made her own way in the music business, eventually becoming a contemporary country star. She has a strong tie to Nashville, which she calls home, and has been celebrated as a CMA Female Vocalist of the Year. She is the voice behind hits such as “Shake the Sugar Tree” and “Maybe It Was Memphis.” In 2007, she released “Rhinestoned” under her own label, Stellar Cat Records.
