Following are photos from the first day of The International Surface Event (tise) 2026 in Las Vegas, running Jan. 27-29. First up are shots from the National Installer of the Year Competition, pitting eight finalists from four regional events against one another to decide the best installer of the year in engineered wood and carpet.
Additionally, the International Union of Painters and Aliied Trades (IUPAT) was holding its Next Generation installation contest for apprentices of the organization.
