The National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) is taking its training and education programs to 16 states in August, including 27 free workshops and eight advanced Regional Trainings. These events provide critical opportunities for tile installers, contractors and industry professionals to build skills, learn new standards, and connect with peers and manufacturers in their region.

NTCAโs Regional Training programs offer an all-day, immersive experience where installers refine their skills using advanced tools, materials and techniques. These solution-based sessions align with ANSI standards and the TCNA Handbook for Ceramic, Glass and Stone Tile Installation to ensure best practices. Topics include:
- Standards-Based Installation of Gauged Porcelain Tile and Gauged Porcelain Tile Slabs
- Substrate Preparation and Large-Format Tile
- Substrate Preparation GPTP
Regional Trainings in August include the following Floor & Decor locations: 8/6-8/7 in Colorado Springs; 8/12 in Denver; 8/20 in Salt Lake City and 8/28 in Knoxville, Tenn.; as well as 8/7 at Daltile in West Palm Beach, Fla.; 8/14 at Marble of the World in Pompano Beach, Fla.; 8/21 at Specialty Tile in Orlando; and 8/27-8/28 at Francini Inc. Marble & Granite in Meridian, Idaho.
NTCAโs free, three-hour workshops combine standards-based instruction, live demonstrations and networking opportunities with a catered meal and the opportunity to meet with local vendors. Workshops cover essential methods outlined in the TCNA Handbook for Ceramic, Glass and Stone Tile Installation. Topics include:
- The Ins and Outs of Layout
- Tile Matters: Best Practices for the Pros
- Failures: Could it Be Me?
- Tile Technology: Adhesives
- Tile Technology: Membranes
Workshops in August include the following Floor & Decor locations: 8/6 in Stuart, Fla.; 8/13 in Timnath, Colo.; 8/15 in Riverdale, Utah; 8/19 in Warwick, R.I.; 8/20 in Moreno Valley, Calif.; Nashua, N.H.; and Port Chester, N.Y.; 8/21 in Wayne, N.J.; 8/26 in Moorestown, N.J.; and 8/27 in Farmingdale and Brooklyn, N.Y.
Additional workshops will be held at the following Daltile locations: 8/12 in Depew, N.Y.; 8/13 in Syracuse; 8/14 in Albany; 8/18 in Orem, Utah; 8/19 in San Diego and Portland, Maine; 8/21 in Van Nuys, Calif.; 8/22 in Warwick, R.I.; 8/26 in Cranbury, N.J.; and 8/28 in Modesto, Calif., and Danbury, Conn.
Workshops will also be held 8/5 at Shoreline Flooring Supplies in West Palm Beach, Fla.; 8/11 at Virginia Tile in Wichita; 8/21 at The Tile Shop in Natick, Mass.; 8/22 at The Masonry Center in Boise; and 8/28 at Tile America in New Haven, Conn.
