Dr. Loferski will discuss OSB and plywood, and squeaky floors.He will then teach a short class on balanced construction of engineered wood and moisture absorption rates and consequences of the rates on coated (site and factory finished) wood floors.

These gentlemen will teach a class from 1:15PM to 5:00 on the correct method to use concrete encounter meters to avoid installation issues and call backs. Preventing problems is more important that solving what went wrong, lets prevent problems and increase profits. However, if issues arise, learn how to inspect, solve and explain the issues to your clients.

May 9 Tarkett’s Class Information

Tarkett – Richard Schmidt

This day is dedicated to Tarkett and all the companies under the Tarkett umbrella. Tarkett’s technical departments will teach important information about their products, how to install, how to prevent problems to increase profits and how to solve and correct problems. A must class for the inspector who wants to do Tarkett inspections.


May 10 Shaw & Delmhorst Meters

Shaw – Len Daubler, Evan Lauridsen and Robert Grant

Shaw will have a class from 7:45 AM to noon.

This is an update class aimed specifically to inspectors on their LVT products, and issues of concern to the flooring inspectors. If you are doing Shaw inspections, this is a can’t miss class. Delmhorst Meters – Paul Laurenzi

Mr. Laurenzi will teach a class from 1:30 to 3:00 on moisture meters, the different types and how to use them correctly and how to recognize environmental issues that can affect the measurements.
