Uzin Utz North America has added four flooring adhesives to its line. According to the company, “these new adhesives underscore Uzin’s dedication to installer confidence, faster site preparation and consistent performance on any substrate and in any environment. By broadening our adhesive portfolio, we equip flooring professionals with solutions that cut downtime, streamline installation and deliver lasting results.”
The new products are:
KE 40 CAIMAN: A water-based, semi-wet-lay adhesive for resilient coverings over porous substrates. “It eliminates moisture testing and RH limits, delivering a permanent, firm-set bond under rolling loads and through temperature fluctuations,” the company said.
KE 33 PS: A pressure-sensitive formulation ideal for modular layouts—including carpet tile, LVT, LVP, VCT, VET and vinyl-backed broadloom. It offers extended working time, virtually effortless repositioning, moisture resistance up to 95% RH and low odor.
MK 1500: A single-component, solvent- and water-free, silane-terminated polymer (STP) adhesive designed for wide-plank and engineered wood installations. It supports up to 95% RH and radiant heat systems, providing hard-elastic bonding in fluctuating environments.
MK 1000: An STP adhesive for solid and engineered wood flooring (up to 5″ and 9″ wide, respectively). It delivers flexibility and strength with moisture control up to 80% RH, ensuring reliable performance across residential and commercial projects.
