Certified Flooring Installers (CFI) has announced that Don Styka, director of field services, Tarkett, was elected as its new board chair during last month’s Advisory Board meeting. Styka, who has been a CFI Advisory Board member since 2018, succeeds Dave Garden.
Rod Von Busch was elected vice chair and Roland Thompson was elected as secretary. Von Busch will also serve as CFI’s representative to the World Floor Covering Association (WFCA) board of directors.
Outgoing board chair, Dave Garden, was recently named executive director of education for CFI. He is joined by other board members:

Members of CFI’s Advisory Board serve a three-year term and participate in monthly meetings that help shape association programs, policies and initiatives.
