The 2025 Synergy Convention & Expo, set for Sept. 16-18 at the Sheraton Music City Hotel in Nashville, will feature programming from three leading organizations—CFI, FCICA and FCITS—alongside the FCB2B program, which will host its own technology-focused meeting in conjunction with the convention. Together these groups will aim to unite installers, contractors, inspectors and technology leaders for three days of education, innovation and connection.
The convention will open with a high-energy keynote from Dan Thurmon, bestselling author of Off Balance On Purpose and Positive CHAOS. Known for combining acrobatics with insight, Thurmon delivers a timely message on leadership through uncertainty—perfect for today’s evolving industry.
With educational tracks from CFI, FCICA and FCITS—and a separate technology-focused FCB2B meeting—attendees will gain relevant, hands-on knowledge to elevate their business and careers. Highlights include:
- Courageous Leadership in Action – A standout session with WFCA CEO Scott Humphrey and board member Darren Harrison, who made national headlines for landing a plane after the pilot became unresponsive.
- CFI Workshops – Carpet repair, resilient installation, LVP and laminate techniques.
- FCITS Inspector Training – Covering technical best practices and evolving standards.
- FCICA Sessions – Topics include contract management, public sector opportunities and the evolving role of installation leaders.
- Sponsor Spotlights – Featuring Mohawk/Performance Accessories and Shaw/TotalWorx, with insights on subfloor prep, installation accessories and jobsite efficiencies.
The FCB2B program is a separate, invitation-only meeting focused on advancing technology standards and digital adoption in the flooring industry. Registration for this track is managed independently at the FCB2B website.
The convention concludes with a dynamic closing keynote from Ron Nash, president and COO of Laticrete North America, sharing leadership insights and a forward-looking view of the industry.
Early bird registration is open through tomorrow. Registration, hotel information and full session details are available here.
