Women In the Floorcovering Industry (WIFI) has shared its schedule of upcoming events designed to foster connection and enhance professional growth among women in the industry. This includes a panel and tabletop discussion at the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) Expo, April 22 in Orlando, Fla.; as well as a virtual book club on April 23 and the monthly โPower Hourโ webinar on May 7.
On April 22, WIFI will host โConfidence in Action: Owning Your Superpowerโ at the NWFA Expo. This interactive session features panel and tabletop discussions focused on helping participants identify their strengths and apply them effectively in the workplace. Panelists include Julie Russell, Gemini Industries; Ashley Do Carmo, Brown Oaks Flooring and Brenda Cashion, UCX. The session will be moderated by Renee Tester Littleton, marketing director, Kรคhrs Americas, who is a board member of both WIFI and NWFAโs Education and Research Foundation.
On April 23, WIFIโs Book Club continues with a discussion of Think Again by Adam Grant, with additional meetings set for May 14, June 4 and June 25. The sessions are hosted by WIFI board members Whitney LeGate, svp commercial product at Mannington, and Littleton.
On May 7, WIFIโs monthly Power Hour will focus on โFrom Burnout to Boundaries.โ Attendees will explore ways to recognize burnout, set boundaries and build more sustainable approaches to work and leadership.
