Delmhorst Sells Moisture Meter Business to Nielsen-Kellerman

Delmhorst Instrument Co. has sold its business to Nielsen-Kellermen, a manufacturer and distributor of environmental and sports performance instruments. Financial details were not disclosed. Delmhorst CEO Tom Laurenzi and John Laurenzi, president, shared the following statement:

โ€œOver the past 80 years, Delmhorst has had the privilege of serving the moisture measurement needs of the lumber, building trades and agricultural industries, rooted in William Delmhorstโ€™s original meter design and guided by Aristide Laurenziโ€™s vision.

โ€œAfter 64 years under Laurenzi family management and ownership, we have made the decision to sell Delmhorst Instrument. We have carefully chosen a successor in Nielsen-Kellerman (NK), who shares our core values and is deeply committed to maintaining the high standards of rugged, robust, U.S.-made products and technical expertise. NK will provide the vision, energy and resources to build on our legacy and take the Delmhorst brand to new heights.

โ€œWe are working together with the new team to ensure a seamless transition. Over the coming months, operations will be transitioned to NKโ€™s state-of-the-art facility in Boothwyn, Pa. This move will bring expanded capabilities and resources.

โ€œTo our many long-time customers and friends, thank you for your decades of trust, your partnership and for allowing us to be a small part of your success. We are incredibly proud of the legacy weโ€™ve built together, and we face the future with gratitude.โ€
