FCEF Expands SkillBridge Partnership for Military Personnel

The Floor Covering Education Foundation (FCEF) has expanded its partnership with the U.S. Department of Defense’s SkillBridge program, now including specialized training through the Basic Floor Covering Installation program. This initiative enables military personnel to participate in hands-on training at approved college programs, positioning them for careers in the floor covering industry.

The SkillBridge program is designed to bridge the gap between military service and civilian careers. Eligible service members can gain practical job training, internships and apprenticeships during their last months of active duty. FCEF’s involvement in the program not only offers these dedicated professionals an opportunity to transition smoothly into civilian life, but it also equips them with specialized skills tailored to meet the demands of today’s competitive workforce.
