Flooring Consultants & Inspection Training Services (FCITS) will offer Preventing Rigid Core Flooring Failures training, July 14-15 in Denver. The course is designed to provide flooring professionals with practical tools to identify risks early, improve decision-making and reduce costly claims and callbacks.
Participants will gain insight into common rigid core flooring issues occurring in the field, determining responsibility when flooring failures arise, proper site preparation and installation conditions, selecting the right product for specific applications, relative humidity (RH) guidelines for hybrid and SPC flooring products, and how to read, document and write reports for flooring-related issues.
The course also includes instruction from manufacturersโ claims managers, providing attendees with valuable perspectives on how claims are evaluated and how proper documentation can influence outcomes. The training is ideal for retail sales professionals, site assessment teams, estimators, installation teams, independent inspectors, claims managers and general contractors.
Instruction will be led by certified experts from the World Floor Covering Association (WFCA) and FCITS. No prerequisites are required, and attendees will earn a Certificate of Completion upon completion of the course.
