The National Association of Floor Covering Technicians (NAFCT) and UNITE Floor Training Alliance have announced “The Summit 2024,” an event combining a trade show, educational sessions, and a panel discussion on the relationship between installers, contractors and manufacturers. Aimed at flooring installers, contractors, manufacturers and suppliers, the event is set for Feb. 22-23 at the Dalton Convention Center in Dalton, Ga.
Robert Varden of UNITE stated, “In my 40-plus years in this business, I’ve always seen three distinctly different players: The manufacturer, the retailer/dealer, and the contractor/installer. And while not even one of these groups would survive without the other, how often do they communicate? Our goal with this Summit is to help bridge that gap, opening constructive communication between them.”
