The International Surface Event (TISE) and International Certified Flooring Installers Association (CFI) have announced 2025 regional competition dates and locations for the 2026 Installer of the Year Competition, alongside platinum sponsor Mohawk Flooring.
The annual competition celebrates some of the best installers in the industry. To make it to the finals held during TISE in Las Vegas, installers must first win a regional competition in one of four locations.
For the 2026 competition, entrants can choose from one of four regional qualifiers:
- July 19 in Boston
- Aug. 23 in Minneapolis
- Oct. 11 in Denver
- Oct. 25 in Dalton, Ga.
Installers can choose to compete in one of two categories: carpet and engineered wood. One finalist from each category in each regional event will earn a trip to TISE 2026 in Las Vegas to compete for the title of National Installer of the Year.
