The recent International Surface Event (TISE), which features Surfaces, StonExpo/Marmomac and TileExpo at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, welcomed attendees from 55 countries and all across North America.

Surfaces. Surfaces offered products from every aspect of the residential and commercial sectors of the flooring industry including hardwood, resilient, carpet/rugs and more. This yearโs event also saw the return of Shawโs brands.
TISE Education Seminars presented a dedicated Surfaces education track, providing detailed flooring-focused programming across three days. Additional Surfaces programming was highlighted on the TISE Live Main Stage, including a feature panel on the installation crisis and a technology session directed at retailers looking to minimize errors and save costs using visualizer programming.
โTISE/Surfaces 2022 was a great show with an amazing buzz of energy and a great deal of business being written. I loved the flow, the reestablishment of face-to-face interaction, presentations on the main stage and elsewhere. And the CFI Installer of the Year Competition was amazing,โ stated Scott Humphrey, CEO, World Floor Covering Association (WFCA).
TileExpo. TileExpo offered attendees architectural, innovative, high-tech products from ceramic to decorative, stone and wood-look tiles. The National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) provided sessions covering skinny, geometric, and large format tile in partnership with celebrity designer Jennifer Farrell and Emser Tile. These sessions also featured hands-on demonstration learning from the TISE Live Demo Stage on the show floor.
โTISE 2022 was a strong show for the National Tile Contractors Association. We signed up a record number of members at this event and this was due to a strong desire by tile and flooring contractors to get together again in person and share ideas and strategies. We are already planning on what we can do bigger and better in 2023,โ said Bart Bettiga, NTCA executive director.

StonExpo/Marmomac. New at StonExpo/Marmomac was the Stone Theatre which offered stone industry education by stone industry professionals right on the show floor. Additionally, the fan-favorite CAGE demonstrations were packed with presentations by the Stone Fabricatorโs Alliance.
โThe seminars in the Stone Theatre; awards ceremonies; larger presence of machinery/equipment; and great networking events provided an excellent experience for everyone. 2022 exceeded our expectations and we canโt wait until 2023,โ noted Jim Hieb, CEO, Natural Stone Institute.
TISE 2023 is scheduled for Jan. 30-Feb. 2, 2023 in Las Vegas. For more information, visit https://www.intlsurfaceevent.com.
